NOTICE TO REPRESENTATIVES AND FUTURE REPRESENTATIVES WKT – WORLD KARATE-DO TRADITIONAL WKT – World Karate-Do Traditional is an international organization committed to Karate-Do, its tradition, development, integration, and unity, based on respect, discipline, ethics, and commitment. WKT respects and welcomes the main styles, schools, and traditions of Karate-Do, recognizing the importance and contribution of each to the development of Karate-Do worldwide. WKT REPRESENTATION WKT does not establish exclusive representation within a country. More than one organization, association, federation, school, or group may join WKT within the same country, provided they are aligned with its principles, regulations, and objectives. Representing WKT means accepting a responsibility. We expect our Representatives to demonstrate: •Commitment to Karate-Do and WKT; •Respect for different styles and organizations; •Regular communication with the organization; •Participation in WKT activities and projects; •Integration and collaboration with other members; •Respect for official rules and decisions; •Ethical and responsible conduct; •Contribution to the development of WKT in their country. WKT understands that periods of reduced activity may occur. However, continuous lack of communication, participation, or commitment may lead to a review of the representation, which may result in its continuation, suspension, termination of affiliation, or replacement. INTERNATIONAL AFFILIATION GUIDELINES – WORLD KARATE-DO TRADITIONAL (WKT) The World Karate-Do Traditional (WKT) is honored to welcome institutions, federations, associations, academies, and representatives committed to the promotion, development, and preservation of the principles of Traditional Karate-Do at both national and international levels. Affiliation with the WKT represents a commitment to a professional, ethical, and participatory organization founded on the principles of discipline, responsibility, transparency, mutual respect, and institutional cooperation. To ensure the quality and integrity of its international representation, all affiliated representatives and member organizations are expected to: •Maintain active and continuous communication with the WKT International Administration; •Fulfill all institutional and administrative obligations in a timely manner; •Support, promote, and strengthen official WKT events, programs, and international activities; •Conduct their activities in accordance with the WKT Statutes, Regulations, Codes, and all other official governing documents; •Preserve and uphold the reputation, values, and institutional objectives of the WKT in all areas of their activities. The continuation of membership is contingent upon the consistent fulfillment of these responsibilities. Failure to maintain communication, non-compliance with institutional obligations, delinquency in membership contributions, or a lack of participation in official activities may result in the suspension or termination of membership, in accordance with the administrative procedures and regulations established by the WKT. The WKT believes that a strong international organization is built upon representatives who demonstrate commitment, active participation, integrity, and dedication to the advancement of Traditional Karate-Do. For this reason, we seek to establish long-term partnerships with leaders who share the highest standards of ethics, responsibility, respect for tradition, and commitment to the global development of Karate-Do. DIRECTRICES PARA LA AFILIACIÓN INTERNACIONAL – WORLD KARATE-DO TRADITIONAL (WKT) La World Karate-Do Traditional (WKT) tiene el honor de dar la bienvenida a instituciones, federaciones, asociaciones, academias y representantes comprometidos con la promoción, el desarrollo y la preservación de los principios del Karate-Do Tradicional a nivel nacional e internacional. La afiliación a la WKT representa el compromiso con una organización seria, ética y participativa, fundamentada en los principios de disciplina, responsabilidad, transparencia, respeto mutuo y cooperación institucional. Con el propósito de garantizar la calidad e integridad de su representación internacional, todos los representantes y entidades afiliadas deberán: •Mantener una comunicación activa y permanente con la Administración Internacional de la WKT; •Cumplir puntualmente con sus obligaciones institucionales y administrativas; •Apoyar, promover y fortalecer los eventos, programas y actividades oficiales organizados por la WKT; •Desarrollar sus actividades de conformidad con los Estatutos, Reglamentos, Códigos y demás normas oficiales que rigen la Organización; •Preservar y fortalecer la imagen, los valores y los objetivos institucionales de la WKT en todas sus actuaciones. La permanencia de la afiliación estará condicionada al cumplimiento continuo de estas responsabilidades. La falta injustificada de comunicación, el incumplimiento de las obligaciones institucionales, la morosidad en las contribuciones correspondientes o la ausencia de participación en las actividades oficiales podrán dar lugar a la suspensión o cancelación de la afiliación, de conformidad con las normas y los procedimientos administrativos establecidos por la WKT. La WKT considera que una organización internacional sólida se construye sobre la base de representantes comprometidos, participativos y plenamente identificados con su misión institucional.
